太阳明明诸光佛，四大神洲正乾坤，
太阳出现满天红，日夜行程不住停，
行得快来催人老，行得慢来光不存，
家家门前都走过，倒被众人叫小名？
恼得太阳归山去，饿死黎民苦众生，
天上无我无昼夜，地下无我少收成，
位位神明有人敬，无人敬我太阳星？
太阳三月十九生、家家念佛敬香灯，
有人讽诵《太阳经》，阖家老幼免灾星，
若毋传我《太阳经》，眼前就是地狱门。
太阳明明诸光佛，分与善男信女们，
每日早晨念七遍，永世不入地狱门，
临终之时生净土、九玄七祖尽超升。
日光菩萨从东来，照见天门九重开，
十万八千大菩萨、诸佛菩萨几边排，
脚踏无量地，风云透地开，
头戴珠宝塔，来娑婆世界，
议定诸佛法，众生诵我《日光经》，准折《金刚一卷经》。
一来报答天地德，二来报答父母恩，
龙天八部生欢喜，家门清吉保安宁，
真心常念《太阳经》，一切灾殃化为尘，
诸佛菩萨摩诃萨，摩诃般若波罗蜜。
